West Java International Forum For Democracy

Soreang, Bandung Regency, West Java | 24 November 2022 The West Java Provincial Government held an international forum on democracy titled ‘Reviving Democracy from Declining and the Future of Local Politics’ in Soreang, Bandung Regency. To increase political participation and democratic awareness, the West Java Unity and Politics Agency (Kesbangpol) together with the West Java DPRD’s Regulatory Formation Body invited six representatives from embassies of friendly countries such as Canada, Sweden, Australia, and Poland. Invited guests were entertained with West Javanese art such as dance and angklung music performances. This activity was part of a global commitment to strengthen local democracy. —
